I have set up the iCloud drive on my Astro Gold devices and on my Windows computer. How can I get Solar Fire to view the iCloud drive charts?

Because Solar Fire is a Windows program, it is not set up to automatically read chart files on the iCloud Drive. However, if you have a chart file on the iCloud Drive that is not yet in Solar Fire, OR one on the iCloud Drive that has more charts in it than the one of the same name in Solar Fire, there is an easy way to copy the files into Solar Fire.

  1. Open the iCloud Drive on your PC
  2. Open the Astro Gold folder.
  3. Double-click the chart file you want in Solar Fire, and it should open up in Solar Fire right away.

Or you can do the following:

  1. Open two folders on your PC side by side, the Solar Fire Charts folder, and the iCloud Astro Gold folder.
  2. Find the chart file in the Astro Gold folder, right click and choose copy.
  3. Left click in the charts folder, then right click and select paste which will copy that chart file into Solar Fire.
  4. Restart Solar Fire, and you should now see those additional chart files from Astro Gold.
