Astro Gold gives you a number of different house systems to choose from. You can choose one of the Traditional House Systems:
· Alcabitius, Bhava, Campanus, Equal House, Koch, Meridian, Morinus, Placidus, Porphyry, Regiomantus, Solar Sign, Topocentric, and Whole Sign.

Or, you can choose one of the other specialised house systems based on using a specific point as the cusp of a house, with the remaining houses in 30 degree increments from this point – this includes:
· 0 Aries, Sun on 1st, Moon on 1st, Mercury on 1st, Venus on 1st, Mars on 1st, Jupiter on 1st, Saturn on 1st, Uranus on 1st, Neptune on 1st, Pluto on 1st, Node on 1st, East Point on 1st, Part of Fortune on 1st, Asc on 1st, Vertex on 7th, MC on the 10th

Once you have decided which house system you wish to use, Astro Gold makes it easy to select it for your chart calculations.
· Click in the Settings icon in the Toolbar to display the Preferences” dialog box.
· Click on Calcs – there you will see the house system that is currently selected.
· Click on the dropdown textbox labelled House System which lists all of your choices.
· Click on the House System in the list you want – this will select that house system. Should you ever wish to change to another system, just repeat these four steps.
