Aspected Points

Scroll Prev Top Next More

Aspected (chart points) allows the selection of which chart points have aspect lines shown in the central circle of a wheel, as well as whether or not they appear in aspect reports. Clicking on each point turns it off (darker) or on (lighter).

All the points currently turned on can be saved as one Set, that you can quickly retrieve for use at a later time, by clicking on the Save As button and giving the Set a name that describes that set of points. Once that is done the Set will appear in the list at the bottom of the dialog screen. When you click in that list of Sets of "Aspected Chart Points" at the bottom of the dialog screen, the full list is displayed, and you can then re-choose that (or any other Set) by clicking on it's name in this list.

To delete any Set you have saved, select it in that list first (which will first change the currently selected "Aspected Chart Points" to those of that Set) then click on the Delete button. This will delete the Set from the list, but the selection of aspected points it contained, and now displayed in the window, will stay exactly as it is - that is the points that are turned on are now the active "Aspected Chart Points" for all charts.

Astro Gold comes supplied with 2 pre-created sets of "Aspected Chart Points" - "No Angles" and "All". However in the above picture a new set has been created and saved called "Planets, asteroids, ASC/MC".

Of course, as mentioned at the very beginning, regardless of what set is current, whenever you want you can always manually change the current "Aspected Chart Points" by turning individual points on or off (continuously clicking on them toggles them on/off), and the changes will be immediately reflected in any displayed chart or data, regardless of whether you save these aspected points as a new Set or not.
