Putting the "Selected Charts" pane is in Chart Explorer mode enables you to click once on any point in any single or multi-chart wheel or dial, and display useful additional context-sensitive information about it (a double click brings up the Interpretations window with interpretations about that point).

➢ Click on Chart Explorer in the "Selection Panel" (see below).
For each point in a chart there are three main types of information possible: Details, chart Aspects and Dynamic aspects. You select which type of information you want to see in the "Selected Charts" pane by clicking on it at the bottom of the "Selected Charts" pane.
Regardless of the number of charts you have selected, the Chart Explorer gives information relating to points in Chart 1, the innermost chart if you have more than one chart selected, for both "Details" and "Aspects". If you select "Dynamic" as the information type, then the current transits are calculated and then applied to the points in Chart 1.
To select a chart point either select it from the dropdown list above the information panel, or click on the point in the displayed wheel in the "Viewing Area".
If the "Details" information type is selected you will see position and speed information about that point in the chart (longitude, latitude, right ascension, declination). If the "Aspects" information type is selected you will see a list of all the aspects for that point in Chart 1.
Below shows the information given for a point when the "Dynamic" information type is selected and Venus had been clicked in the wheel for Chart 1 in the "Viewing Area". It shows exact transit hits to Venus for a period of a year. The year is automatically set to start 6 months prior to the current date and end 6 months after the current date.
If a pair of points has an aspect in both longitude and declination, both aspects will be listed.
